Your subscription: trial, price, and canceling
Updated July 29, 2026
Descreened is a subscription: a 3-day free trial, then $1.99 per month in the US. The exact price shows in your local currency on Apple's purchase sheet before you confirm. It auto-renews monthly unless you cancel.
The free trial
The trial starts from onboarding through Apple's purchase sheet, so it needs a payment method on your Apple account. You're not charged during the 3 days. Descreened shows a "Trial ends" reminder in Settings as the end approaches. If the trial lapses without a subscription, the app locks to a subscribe screen — your restrictions aren't deleted, just paused.
Cancel or manage
Apple handles all billing, so canceling happens through your Apple account:
- In Descreened, go to Settings.
- Tap Manage Subscription. Apple's manage sheet opens in-app.
- Choose Cancel Subscription.
You can do the same from the App Store app: tap your profile picture, then Subscriptions. Canceling during the trial stops it from charging; you keep access until the trial ends.
Restore Purchases
Reinstalled the app, or subscribed on this Apple account before? In Descreened, go to Settings and tap Restore Purchases in the Account section. The app rechecks your Apple account and unlocks if a subscription is active.
For refunds, see request a refund.
Tip: Canceling never takes effect mid-period. You keep full access until the date Apple shows on the manage sheet.
